CLASSIC TOUR DOGE'S PALACE AND PIAZZA SAN MARCO

Friday 18 March @ 13:30 or Sunday 20 March @ 14:30

(Led by an authorized guide). Duration approximately 3½ hours. 10 people per group.

  • Guided visit of the Doge's Palace, seat of Venetian political power and residence of the holders of the highest position of office for the duration of their mandate. Seat of the Senate and the various Governing Councils. The Council Hall is one of the largest in Europe, 53 meters long and 25 meters wide. You can admire hundreds of masterpieces by artists such as Tintoretto, Veronese, Tiepolo.
  • Visit of the Basilica of San Marco, a true jewel of architecture, with its wonderful mosaics which consist of the largest mosaic surface in the world.
  • Using the entrance ticket to the Marciana area you can also visit the Correr Museum and the monumental halls of the Marcian Library.

 Cost Euro 60.00 per person.

TOUR BETWEEN GONDOLAS AND BACARI

Friday 18 March @ 13:30 or Sunday 20 March @ 14:30

(Led by an authorized guide). Duration approximately 3½ hours. 10 people per group.

  • Visit to a squero, the name given to the construction site where gondolas and traditional wooden boats are built. There are only 2 left in Venice. Here time has stopped because the techniques developed in the Middle Ages continue to be used.
  • Walk to Piazza San Marco, with a stop in a bacaro (an ancient place to eat simple and traditional food) and consume Venetian finger food called cichetti, dutifully accompanied by wine.
  • The tour ends in Piazza San Marco.

Cost Euro 40 per person including tasting.

TOUR OF THE GHETTO AND THE CANNAREGIO DISTRICT

Friday 18 March @ 13:30 or Sunday 20 March @ 14:30

(Led by an authorized guide). Duration approximately 3½ hours. 10 people per group. 

  • Departure from Hilton Molino Stucky by water taxi to reach the oldest ghetto in the world, designed in 1516, located in the Cannaregio district, in the north of the city. It was one of the most cosmopolitan places in the city, a mixture of cultures, languages, and traditions.
  • Continue for a nice walk to discover this fascinating area, soul of the city, reaching on foot the Rialto Bridge at the end of the tour.

Cost Euro 50.00 per person, including transfer by water taxi.

TOUR FULL DAY SAN GIORGIO E MURANO

Friday 18 March @ 10:00 

(Led by an authorized guide). 10.00 – 16.00. 25 people per group.

  • Departure from the Hilton Molino Stucky Hotel by private boat.
  • Visit of the church of San Giorgio, the work of Palladio, one of the most important architects of the 16th century.
  • The island of Murano, specialized in the production of Venetian artistic glass.
  • Visit to a major glass furnace, where you can see how glass is made and how master glass blowers manage the process.
  • Seafood lunch at the traditional Busa alla Torre restaurant on Murano.
  • Return scheduled for 16.00.

Cost Euro 120.00 per person, including the costs of the use the private boat for the whole day, lunch, and guide.
